Anne B. Davis, better known to TV fans as the maid to The Brady Bunch, Alice Nelson, has died at age 88, following a fall. For the laughs she's given all of us in an otherwise goofy sitcom (they didn't even have a toilet in their bathroom, fer crimmony's sake!), she will surely be missed.

I've only seen a couple episodes of the Brady Bunch, but Alice was great...she was almost as funny as Ellen. :D I'm gonna miss her. :(

That show as a guilty pleasure bc then. FYI 1970s teenagers were very different from what was portrayed on the show.

I used to run home to watch "Emergency!"at 7:00, then "The Brady Bunch" at 7:30.

I've always liked Jan better than Marcia-Marcia-Marcia

I felt for Marcia when she got hit by the football, though.

Alice was funny when she hung out with her butcher boyfriend.

I didn't realize it as a young kid--but Alice was the bedrock of that house.
