I think they are taking them home with them. The Humvee was obviously taken on a joy ride by the cops.

It's frightening to think insane, evil people are swiping that stuff.

I'm not really sure if they are insane or evil,or more like a kid in a candy store, its really amazing what slips thru the cracks in small police departments.
What I can't figure out is why cops in my state would even need that stuff.Arkansas, the hot bed of mischief, yeah sure. Were the third laziest state, like we're gonna riot.We get chips and cold drinks and watch the riots elsewhere on tv under AC.
If I was tempted by a Humvee I'd sort of want to take it in the swamps or the mountains, just to see what it could do.

The police ought to distribute beer to stop potential riots.

If things get out of hand, I'm going to start wearing bullet proof body armor in public.

Actually, I do have this really cool little stapler (an Ace "Clipper" to be exact) that followed me home. I had one like it at work that could really punch through a stack of paperwork better than the average run of the mill desktop stapler and I just love it. The office supply room does not keep that kind in stock, though. When I found another just like it and about five boxes of the special staples it uses in an abandoned desk, the stapler and one of the boxes of staples fell into my backpack and came home with me. The rest of the stapes went to my at work desk. It's an awesome little stapler. :D
