I get mine mostly from NPR, BBC World News, Al Jazzera (America) and my local news stations.

NPR, BBC, MSNBC, TYT. I scan all news outlets but these are the ones I most trust.

I have a blog roll that I go through daily, getting different takes on things and collating them before forming my own opinions.

Reason
Slate
Salon
The Atlantic
Politico
The Volokh Conspiracy
Popehat
The Watch
Mediaite
The Truth About Guns

A few others off and on, but those are the main ones, no TV or print media for the most part either.

I compulsively check News.com every day at work but I trust The ABC above all others.

ABC tv and radio.
SBS
WSWS.ORG.
New Scientist

Then I search the internet for more information on the news stories which interest me. I generally pay no attention to commercial media

The ABC is unreliable due to Howard's successful efforts to turn it into a neoliberal propaganda outlet. Prior to its Murdochatisation and strategic dumbing down, I would have listed the ABC here. You can still find a couple of shows on RN that are worth something, though. You might want to read this if you still have any lingering respect for Tony Jones: https://newmatilda.com/2014/06/10/witho ... es-begging

MSNBC tops my list. CBS National/World News, and several good news sources on the Internet. CNN, and local news watched for only a few minutes.
