This is a particularly sad story but I think it's a bit pessimistic of the doctors to state that he'll never walk again.

chances are he will never walk normally again. I hope the sickos who did this to him get at least some punishment. but I doubt they will get anything but slaps on the wrist.

judging by my own back problems, chances are he will never again not know back pain. thanks to those no-good bastards who did this to him.

The should be charged with attempted murder. They picked up stones and through them at him knowing that if they hit he was likely to fall in circumstances that could well be fatal. At the very least, it's negligent homicide.

There is no punishment that can be equal to what they did. Even paralyzing them will not be as bad because they probably do not have as hard a time adjusting to change or a basic need to stim which Joshua might never be able to do again.
