At least, way to go judge!

A problem now is that right-wing fundies will likely see this ruling as another reason to try and ban gay marriage nationwide.

Let 'em try! Here in Washington state, we legalized gay marriage by popular vote, so they can't b*tch about the will of the courts overcoming the will of the people here!

I feel I don't quite understand the American right-wing. They're *for* individual freedom/liberty, *against* government imposing restrictions upon them... right?

But that doesn't add up with the rest of what they believe.

Seemingly.

It's as if I'm constantly missing or not understanding something.

It angers me when some right-wing politicians try to outlaw homosexual and interracial marriages while condemning left-wingers for preventing people from manufacturing, serving and consuming unhealthy, processed foods and sugary drinks. NOBODY should be controlling marriages in this country.

Here in Oregon, gay marriage became legal in May 2014 when a judge ruled that a state amendment banning gay marriage discriminated on the basis of sexual orientation, so right-wing fundies can't b**ch about that either!
