Should be something to see, but I'm not sure I want to get up that early to observe it.

For me it's in the early evening but for me to see it "horizontally" I'd have to be in Sydney.

if it's at 6:25 AM EST..that's like 3:25 for me, on the west coast. looks like i'm in a lucky spot geographically but my yard is super cramped and i can't see both horizons to save my life...i'll have to sneak out.

I'm in S. Ontario and have a great view of it. Was cloudy here the last several days so it's awesome that it cleared up just in time for this!

Been sticking my head out every so often to see the colour. Too cold to stay out. Watching mostly out the window but there's a refraction with double panes but this is too cool to miss.

As soon as I woke up I saw the blood-red moon slowly vanish in mid-air above the trees even though there were no clouds to block it. For some reason posts on WP are showing as 28 minutes later than when they were actually posted. For mine it was actually 7:00AM.

For once, I'm thankful for a little insomnia. Rolled out of bed around 5:00 a.m. CT and treated to clear skies and the eclipsing lunar orb sliding toward the western horizon.

Quite a spectacular sight, that reddish ball in he sky!

Well that was pretty good. This evening I had to make a long drive across town so I thought I'd miss it. Not so. I saw much more of it out the car window than I would have if I'd stayed coped up in my flat. Impressive stuff, watching the moon wain in such a short time.

It's fascinating how a lunar eclipse can be a shared experience around the world but a solar eclipse is confined to a small area.

I've been wondering about this for a couple days!
