Good. Jefferson and Jackson are rolling over in their grave seeing what has happened to their party. I thought they should of taken Jackson off the $20 too, not because he isn't worthy but because putting his face on a federal reserve note is probably the greatest disrespect you could give him considering his life's work. Republicans should stop having Lincoln Day dinners too. Both parties probably should stop honoring a guys who would consider them traitors in their time.
You want to demote Jackson back to the $10?
The Republicans already hate Lincoln for being a dirty liberal who imposed those values on the country through a brutal war.
This is happening due to the massive conservative swing of the Republicans.
To be fair Jefferson promised his dying wife, he'd never have relations with another woman again, yet he still got it on with his slave mistress even when his wife was alive.
Oh he lets not talk about how he treated his half slave children and had to be bailed out many times due his financial issues.
He also destroyed his friendship with John Adams to win the 1800 election with a huge public dishonest personal smear campaign.
Jackson on the other hand openly ignored a Supreme Court ruling by removing the Native Americans from the East and massacring them.
He also did a lot of unsavory things including making the Democratic symbol the Donkey!
