"In the video, teens can be seen rushing one entrance of the AMC theatre inside the West Oaks Mall, and then another.

“It was just a perfect storm," said Lt. Mike Bryant with Ocoee Police Dept. "There’s a large food court area there where people can come, they can sit, they can wait for a movie. AMC has a policy that when you’re done with a movie, you’re not immediately escorted out. You can kind of hang out outside their lobby there and we just had a big group of kids that just continued to grow and grow and grow.”

A mall spokesperson said a group of minors tried to force their way in after AMC refused to sell them tickets to the film "50 Shades of Grey." The commotion led to the riot."

I've been to this mall one time to get my glasses and the feeling that you were going to get mugged was so thick in the air you could cut it with a knife. The surrounding area and nearby fairgrounds is a huge dump a third the size of Rhode Island.
I wonder where their parents were?

I don't understand the popularity of the book or this movie or why people going to see it are acting worse than when they go Christmas shopping. In fact, going to see any new movie these days seems to result in a massacre or a riot or just general human behavior at its absolute worst. Humanity is DOOMED.

The malls where I live don't have movie theaters so at least I can sort of still shop in peace.

50 Shades like Twilight and Transformers is something I don't really understand the popularity of. If someone tried to explain it to me I wouldn't be able to understand their explanation.

I honestly don't understand the popularity of the book or the movie. While the teens are rushing to that movie, I'm running the other way.

Hopefully, when the movie leaves theaters, everyone will forget about the book and the movie.

I wonder if the teenage mob was coed, or girls only?

The movie is forbidden- so thats why teens wanna see it. Like smoking cigarettes.

Why adults wanna see it - is another question.

Its supposed to be softcore porn for females (as I understand it).

If women like it then it makes this male curious to see it (to get educated about what women like).

I don't like the new Transformers movies, but it was a popular animated series in the 80s. I think it's somewhat the same with the Turtles movie, it will draw 30+ people because they are familiar with it from their childhood.
I think the best Transformers movie is easily the 1986 one, but of course I'm biased because I watched it as a child. At least this one was faithful to the original series.

Then you must refer to them as "Bayformers".

I find this behavior to be quite annoying, and furthermore, I wonder how other movie theaters are gonna react to it. I find it hard enough to just enjoy a movie these days, without large groups ruining it.

Unfortunately, the two books that follow 50 Shades Of Crap will get made into movies themselves, so forgetting it won't happen so soon.

You're kidding me?

There are already two sequels to "Fifty Shades"?

Its not like the Godfather, or Star Wars. Not a story that you would think could be prolonged into a trilogy.

After rushing the theater they then went to nearby stores and mass looted them while beating up employees of those stores.
I am glad there is the Florida Turnpike or else I would have to go through the massive ghetto of Crime Hills to get to Universal.

Seriously 2 more movies of something that makes Twilight seem like a good movie?

Yes, but the first sequel has been confirmed for a 2016 release, with production set to begin later this year.

If you don't know already, 50 Shades started out as alternate-universe Twilight fanfiction called Master of the Universe. It was flagged and taken down from Fanfiction.net, and the author turned the Twilight characters into OCs and put the story on her personal website. Then a publisher discovered it. So yeah.

My gosh sounds like teenagers are screwed up these days. Shouldn't they be with their parents or stay home and whatever they're doing if they want to see it. Besides 50 Shades of Grey is rated R so that means it's for adults only.
