Thanks for posting the cool and accurate article. I also find that I enjoy communicating with them and they're happy with my nonverbal communication. It can be a healing connection when I'm struggling with the challenges of connecting with humans.

12, no, 13 years of living in this house, and our cat has been there since day one. my uncle lived in an annex before we moved in and Pickles was there. it is a bit sad when i remember that he can't jump the fences like he used to, but he gets along with my hamsters very well for a cat.....i think older felines are just mellow like that. are they? i hope he stays around for much longer.

one of the only times i have seen my mother cry is when we adopted a black kitty when i was around 7, or 8. i had no other pet back then and we clicked, i think. we eventually had to give him up again since we couldn't keep him for whatever reason and, maybe, i got a little teary too.

I am definitely a cat lover. I was raised with cats through virtually my whole childhood, and now, my wife, daughter, and I have two black Tom cats named Kafka and Lovecraft. The two boys don't particularly like each other, but we love them both.

Cats were my paramount source of affection as a child and I adore them.

I have been with cats sense I was a newborn, I adore them, and have made friends with several of the neighborhood ones.
