I wonder if his attacker will even have anything done to them?

a short stint in juvie which will likely only harden him for an eventual matriculation into either prison or the executive suite.

In either institution, I hope he gets reamed up the ass.

not that anybody actually deserves such. but he likely will be the one doing the reaming. a sociopath is as a sociopath does. at least until an even worse one comes along and usurps his place in the pecking order, or in this case the buggering order.

it has to come to skull fractures and hospitalizations, to get kids to be "more supportive and sensitive"?

he apparently liked to sit in the same spot in the cafeteria every day, routine. while sitting in the same spot regularly doesn't make it yours, it should never have to come down to that. i guess the bully knew that sitting in that "his" spot would upset him.

I remember when someone at my school got beaten up real bad, because they though he was gay. Mind you, this was back in the 1980's, when hatred towards gay's was at it highest. They lead him to the back of the school and four kids beat the crap out of him and broke 2 of his ribs. The four kids that beat him up got a year in juvie for it and there parents had to pay the hospital bill. BTW: The kid they beat up was not gay, but because of the way he acted. they though he was.

Blake Kitchen: Bullied Special Needs Student Brutally Beaten In School Cafeteria, Complaints About Bullying Reported

This article says the assailant is going to juvenile court.
It must have been a brutal attack to do so much damage.

in my dad's day [decades back] if a kid was found to be a bully, off to "Reform school" he went. they need to revive that practice, IMHO.

I don't ever remember a bully ever being referred to the legal system when I went to school. It was considered a normal part of the growing up. If there was a fight teachers broke it up and maybe they would go to the principles office and be forced to apologize to each other. Most bully's were smart enough to do it at recess away from teachers or after school off school grounds

When i was in school, nothing was done with the bully. The faculty just blamed the victim for making themselves the target.

I got constantly beat up in school, finaly my parents moved me to a private church school after a very rough 10th grade school year. I hope the bully gets turned into an example with what ever punishment he gets. Parents need to be more involved in thier childrens lives. Most of the ones that beat the snot out of me came from broken or single parent homes. Many times a future bully can be prevented by proper parenting IMHO. Mike

that was mostly the same protocol in my elementary school, not once have i heard of troublemakers getting sent off to anything 'worse' than the principals office or suspensions. or maybe they did and i simply never observed it which is more likely, everything was very confidential and hidden.
