Okayyyyy....

So....

I am an American.

So who which side do I "root for"?

For the Saudies? Or the Houthis?

Do I root FOR the Saudies because they are allied to the USA, share intelligence with Israel, and hate Assad?
Or do I root AGAINST them because they are allied to Al Queda?

Do I root against the Shiite Houthis because they are allied to Iran, and allied to Assad, and allied to Hezbollah? And we hate all of those guys.

Or do I root FOR the Houthis because they are allied to Iran, and to Assad, and to Hezbollah, because those groups are also allied to the our clients (the Iraqi government), and because they are all fighting ISIS?

It was already confusing enough before they added this one more conflict to the playbook.

I personally like the idea of having Israel be the spectator for once. All the Israelis have to do is sit back and eat matzos and watch the Muslims slaughter each other. What side should we be on, who cares, sometimes even the Muslims don't know what side they're on, or they change it with whoever has the most money. Pass the lox and bagels...

Are there actually any major groups that share values with the "the West"? It seems the secular people there do not really have a voice. I heard that when the Iranian revolution started it was made up of different political groups but ended up getting hijacked by the ayatollah-crazies. From what I have seen the Kurds seem the most "supportable", and they should really get their own state sometime soon. The whole Middle-east looks pretty hopeless to me.
Oh, and I don't trust Russia Today. These people are still lying about shooting down a CIVILIAN plane with 298 people and try to blame it on the Ukranians.

Not just morally gray, but gray in self interest.
Every "enemy" is also our friend, and every "friend" is also our enemy.

Israel is our value-sharing best friend, and ISIS is supposed to be the polar opposite (evil incarnate). And yet Netanyahu pleads with us NOT to fight ISIS (because ISIS is fighting Iran).Lol!
