She died Saturday, at 85. Condolences to her son, Ben Stiller, and his family; and, of course, Jerry Stiller, her husband. Who says "hollywood marriages" don't last? Those two have given me ALOT of laughs----even if you didn't like them, their longevity was worth appreciation, IMO.

Oh this is sad -- RIP Ms Meara.

She and her hubby were a great team, gave me too lots of laughs over the years. And yes, gotta admire that long marriage.

Condolences to son Ben, another favorite of mine.

It's rough losing a parent no matter what ripe age they reach; it's just rough. RIP.

I remember the Stiller & Meara routines from the Ed Sullivan Show. She will be missed.
