Oh, great! Just what the world needs: another app to spoon feed what passes for news a la Fox (Faux) News (you watch, we decide), MS-NBC, and CNN.

While I am a Machead, I can't help but fear that what Tom Childers, professor emeritus of reference services in the school of Information Studies at Drexel University, stated over 35 years ago is now more of a reality: the media conglomerates now control both content and conduit.

Yeah but the same news will look more attractive, cost more, and show the world your are a smarter better class of person then those reading the same news on Windows machines in between constant Blue Screens of Death (sarcasm)

It's just a dynamic RSS news reader/feed.

You select all the sites you wish to be a part of it.
Apple is not forcing any site on to you, just giving you the first true mobile dynamic RSS news reader/feed.

I for one cannot wait to use it on my iPhone.
