NBC just announced that Richard Matt has been shot & killed, by Law Enforcement----the other one's still on the loose, but they feel they're closing-in on him!!

The other one, name of Sweat, has been found (Sunday, near the Canadian border), shot, and is in critical condition.....

And that ends that hunt. I guess the surviving one was hoping to hide in Canada. Looks like his plan didn't work out.

The one who was shot and killed by the police had a murder conviction......

For killing a guy, then beheading him, then disemboweling him.

So this idiotic woman decides that it would be a good idea to help people like THAT to escape?

I really need a nice cup of tea, thinking about it.

Both Richard Matt and I were born June, 25. :roll:
He died on June 26, I didn't.

Why couldn't the cops shoot the other one, too? (This is a rhetorical question, by the way.)

A woman with a decent career, a home, and a husband. Now she has likely lost them all in exchange for an orange jumpsuit.

My ex BIL who is in the prison in my town now, escaped about 35 years ago when he was in prison at Kilby. He was out for a couple of weeks and just got sick of running and hiding and turned himself back in. He's been in and out of prison his whole life.

I heard that she helped them escape in exchange for killing her husband. The lady worked at a prison, there were no OC guys there who might have been able to help her out without all this crap? Plus, she trusted the guy to actually keep his word to her when he got out and kill her husband. What a freakin' idiot....
