I read something like this in a book I once had called "Southern Fried Rat and other Gruesome Tales". It was a book full of urban myths and legends that are not true, or based off of misinformation. Worms in hamburger meat, decomposing mice in bottle of cola. Made up by people who think the companies are more evil than Saddam Hussien or just want to gross people out. Of course they couldn't call it Kentucky Fried Rat or mention the brand names or the author would have gotten their butt sued off.

No doubt this story could be added to that book.

Wouldn't that be an improvement on what they usually serve?

Probably isn't too bad fresh.

Though, you'd need to gut and clean it first.

probably would be, though it turned out to just be a weirdly shaped piece of chicken

Big companies certainly do some evil things, but the things in those legends would fall into "stupid evil" which is not the same thing. (Basically doing evil things because it's evil rather that for the profits it would give.)

This reminds me of when that lady sued Wendy's because she found the finger in her chili. Turned out she cut her own finger and planted it in there, or something like that.

Not the first time that foreign matter has been found in fast food items, though I have to admit, that at least the one pictured below does at least qualify as chicken:

Better is Kentucky Fried Coyote, still KFC.

And rats are very healthy food in general, their meat has good mix of vitamines and low fat. I've seen spreadsheets for snake feeding

Though in this case it was just piece of chicken with odd shape - on other photos it's seen usual chicken meat inside.
