Actually, I don't think I could make that up.

Perhaps the GOP will catch a break and Trump will catch a bullet, I'd approve of a pardon for Shorty for that one; hell, I'd give him my vote if he took care of Hillary while he was at it. Sadly, I imagine that running a vast illegal business is actually probably good training for a career in US politics, or would at least help with the gridlock.

They're saying it must have taken 1 to 2 years to build his air conditioned, electrically lit tunnel that was big enough for him to comfortably walk to freedom.

He escaped from a Mexican prison, after Mexican officials scoffed at the ideas that he could escape and that an American "Supermax" prison was more secure.

El Chapo had help.

The Mexican and American governments have both aided and abetted the Sinoloa Cartel which Mr El Chapo heads, I am not surprised he escaped. Corruption is rampant in Mexico and our government is deeply involved in global drug trafficking.

It wouldn't be surprising if this was an inside job that was similar to the inside job to the prison in upstate New York.

Notice all the druggie stuff everywhere, as in the media? Wonder if this cartel is behind glamorizing the drugs to keep their market going? That was what I was getting at in my other thread. I always thought that was weird. People get paid off to keep illicit drugs on the minds of Americans.

Anyone who studied marketing knows - the way to be sure they stay loyal to your brand is to start them out young. Well, guess who's the target for all the druggie bs in the media? You guessed it. Young teens. They know if they can get them addicted while young, they got a customer for (a rather short) life. Think about it next time you hear or read someone in the media spouting off about drugs, or shows about it. Who's financing that crap? What kind of corruption is this? Might be more to it than meets the eye.

We all know drugs are bad. They kill people everyday. They bring suffering, sorrow and misery into lives. That message is somehow lost in the media who are soft when it comes to drugs. It's what kills the business for the cartels so they hush it up by supporting the other side who are fatalistic about everything.
