According to the Washington Post "U.S. officials make contact with rep for Cecil the lion's killer amid extradition calls".

Another article in the Post is "Cecil the lion's killer may have trouble avoiding extradition, experts say".

I tried to make links to the two articles but was unsuccessful.

A wealthy, educated American citizen travelled to another country and committed a crime there.

For years he has hunted in other nations and knows the importance of obeying their laws, the breaking of which can

lead to fines, confiscation of trophies, and even imprisonment.

For four days he and his guides willingly, knowingly broke Zimbabwe's laws.

Zimbabwean officials have every right to discuss this matter with him.

In person, in their country, possibly in their courtroom.

He flouted their authority when he killed a lion protected by the Zimbabwe government, he should answer to that

authority now.

That's indeed the latest feed, but I don't know why they are delaying the inevitable anyway?

Extradite the guy, and if convicted, with a possible prison sentence, let's see how long the pampered "Great White Hunter" lasts behind bars in a third world country.
