He does not stick with most of his opinions. I don't know how people who like him feel they can trust him. The only thing he seems consistent with is that it is important to be a winner and a winner is defined by wealth.

Quote:
These passages will ring a bell for anyone following his campaign: "One thing I've learned about the press is that they're always hungry for a good story, and the more sensational the better," Trump writes in one of the excerpts. "... the point is that if you are a little different, or a little outrageous, or if you do things that are bold or controversial, the press is going to write about you ... the result is that the press is always going to write about me."

Trump is playing the media like a fiddle.

Does anyone know if Roe vs Wade can be reversed?

The Supreme Court has to overturn it and I don't believe they have enough votes for that.

Unlikely, you would have to pack the supreme Court with conservatives and then overturn it.

Can the President do it with an Executive Order?

And another question - Trump said he wanted it to go to the States. Does that mean that States could break off from "the law of the land" and make abortion illegal in certain States and not in others?

After thinking about this "logically" if abortion was made illegal, then having an abortion would be breaking the law just like any other law and the person would then be punished. That makes sense to me.

What would happen is the doctors and institutions that preformed them would be punished not the women. The leading anti abortion groups are not in favor of punishing women for having abortions. The Trump campaign had to reverse itself because if criticism from anti abortion groups
Trump reverses statement on women and abortion after outcry

No, it doesn't make sense. A woman has the choice what to do with her body. While I am pro-life (except in the case of incest, rape and health of the mother), it is ultimately up to the woman and not the man.

If you want to be pro-woman, support a woman's choice. That's how I look at it.

Then you're not pro-life.

That is absolutely correct. Making abortion illegal means women get punished for doing it. It's not just doctors who would get punished, since women would try it themselves.

Hypothetical question.Im still kicking out eggs,so a small chance I could get pregnant if I was sexually active, even tho my tubes are tied.
I'm 51, take medication that can cause birth defects, financially and mentally unable to take care of a child,so I should be punished if I had an abortion?
No birth control is 100%,so what if a family or single mother has several children and can't afford anymore?
It's dammed if you do,dammed f you don't.If you have the kid and get welfare to help with the bills, then you are a deadbeat loser, have an abortion and you're a baby killer.
