Today the Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP) text was released to the public today.

https://ustr.gov/trade-agreements/free- ... -Full-Text

There are many good parts to this and many questionable parts.
Beware it is a 2,000 page read

Reddit users gave their approval to the e-commerce and most of the telecommunication chapter.
They are still reading the other parts.

I read the labour chapter and it is unusually good text allowing for independent unions, the right to collective bargaining, good working standards (above most U.S. states), and the right to strike in all members countries.

The agreement still has to be approved by the member countries.
The U.S. Senate agreed to fast track it, meaning it just needs the 2/3rd votes, while putting a limit on how long senators can debate it and blocks filibuster from happening.
U.S. Senators can only do an up or down vote, with no changes to the text.

If the deal enters into force it will cover ~40% of the global economy.

I hear a giant sucking sound, it must be from jobs and money outsourced. So many in Washington support it because they are controlled by lobbyists. I heard this is 5,544 pages long!

Chris Hedges: The TPP is the Most Brazen Corporate Power Grab in American History. It's worst than any of us feared.

Is there a way to legally become a corporation? It seem that my rights would be better protected that way. :(
