Trump remarks were the best.

He's got a point... if the people were armed, the shooters would have been stopped...

That's not entirely true.

Just because people have guns, doesn't mean they will react properly in a high tense situation.

The terrorists had military grade weapons and gear, maybe even bullet proof vests.
They would have easily taken out armed civilians.

Let's not forget that most mass shootings in US were conducted by White guys, there was a recent study showing that states with more gun ownership restrictions had about 50% less incidents of shootings.

Also, I'm thinking cynically:
France- no guns- terrorists shoot people
US- guns - terrorists have to get creative and use airplanes

shooting at someone who just made himself noticeable by blowing himself up won't work.

The "good guy with a gun" theory has rarely been effective against someone set out to kill others by killing himself.

I guess Trump goes to a lot of music shows here in the US, where they PAT YOU DOWN and confiscate any and all possible weapons, especially guns. People with carry permits know better than to take one to a show, but if you forget and bring a nice knife or other personal item, you'll have to throw it in the trash and have only yourself to blame. If you're a girl you have to dump out your purse, so most girls don't take purses. You can't even take pepper spray in.

He's just an idiot. Completely out of touch with regular life, as most of these people are.

Jeb suggests to only allow christian refugees in, and build internment... I mean.. "Refugee camps" within syria.

Carson mentioned something about the chinese delivering weapons and military maintenance services to syria,

And Cruz said, Obama is waging war on christmas, ah, I mean christians.

It's. .... I mean....sure they are removed from ordinary life, politics itself is far removed from life, and I'm all for the weird turning pro when the going gets weird but... But These are all miley cyruses and justin biebers applying for the leading role in an opera about the lives of hundreds of millions of people.

The governments don't help people who are poor, homeless, starving, disabled or ill, but they're always spending money on war and yet things like this happen anyway. I hate politicians, I hate the governments and I hate myself. Screw the world.

Maybe they could have stopped them and maybe not. It's better to at least have the option handy.
"Military grade" weapons have no magical powers and are only as good as the user.

I don't see what's so wrong with what he's said. Every time there's a shooting in the US people start blaming America's gun laws, which is no different.

France has strict gun laws, and it needs "international terrorism"-kind of criminal energy for a bloodbath (and yes, these are increasing in numbers), meaning: it's hard for anyone to get a gun, but you still can, illegally. Whivh means, being caught trying to get a gun means: being caught preparing for murder.
Numbers of 'everyday non-terrorist' shootings are pretty damn low in Europe. They do happen, though.

Whereas in the US, guns can be obtained easily, and 'everyday non-terrorist' shootings are fairly common, while " international terrorism" thing is, thankfully, just as rare.

Trump is confusing the importance of gun laws on everyday shootings with the non-significance of gun laws for international terrorism.
