It is good news, although a better idea is to get rid of legal marriage altogether.

Legal marriage isn't actually fundamental like expression, it is simply an issue of fairness when one group has this special status and other does not. There is still cultural a religious marriage which is part of expression.

To protect freedom, it is better that as few special legals statuses exist as possible. I feel the same way as incorporation, as this legal treats a company as a person. However as a company is not practically a person, this mean it cannot be treated as such and therefore need special rights.

That happened a few months ago. They beat America to the punch, and they did it by popular vote.

Is this a thing to celebrate? Now that the Church is dead, by its own hand, have the people suddenly turned into philosophers? Or are they just blindly parroting what globalist social engineers tell them is progressive?

In this world, everything the state gives you is used to screw you somehow.

No, it's simply the expansion of civil rights to an oppressed group of people. No one gets screwed, save the bigots who convince themselves that something is taken from them when someone else they don't like gets something.
