Looks like someone really, really, really wants to come back home... home, you know where people actually form queues, don't steal your shoes, or nick your cell phone chargers ?

There's something very British about complaining that people don't form queues or have poor table manners, even though you are a self-proclaimed, UK-hating, ISIS terrorist. Oh, he also advises "Western Jihadis" (whatever those are) to join "Western battalions" and to avoid "Arab battalions", if that were at all possible.

Abu Saeed Al-Britani hates rude, lazy, thieving Arabs.

Awww....

The life of a terrorist is just so complicated!

Poor guy!

Lol!

That guy's blog IS actually quite interesting (on many levels).

Even if he had just been a business traveler, or an exchange student, blogging about Arab culture his observations about Arab culture would be interesting.

But the fact that he is addressing folks who long to be Jihadists (and the fact that we're eves dropping on his conversation without invitation) makes it even more interesting.

Read the article and replace "arab" with "jew".

Then imagine someone posting it here and imagine the consequences.

The jews would cry in unison to have the thread deleted.

But it's perfectly fine the other way around, isn't it?

Ugh... WTH.

No one is saying that his rantings are "perfectly fine and he's right about Arabs". He's a bloody ISIS Jihadi for crying out loud. It's just amusing (and not in an anti-Arab way) and ironic that a would-be mass murderer would complain about things as banal as "manners" or "cruelty to animals" (apparently, it's perfectly fine to be cruel to human beings, though).

I think this logic says more about you than any of the hypothetical people you discuss.

It's also totally wrong. HisMom did not express thoughts about arabs and the "Syrian race," those loony ideas flow from the troubled mind of the person identifying himself as "Omar Hussain aka abu Sa'eed Al-Britani"

The posters here are mocking those foolish ideas, and this is not a violation of any rule.

In all seriousness, I cannot imagine why he thinks that he can impose his "Western values" on the local population, as opposed to living life their way, as he - and not the Syrians - is the foreigner there. What makes him think that he can "teach them" how to behave, eat and act ? And he even says that the Arabs get angry when he tries to point out the error of their ways as opposed to accepting his viewpoint and changing themselves ! It'd be quite hilarious if it wasn't so pathetic.

Arabs are true collectivists. Brits are the true individualists. And that twain shall never meet as Al-Britani has discovered to his dismay.

Alright, let's take your sentence and change it so it applies to jews instead of arabs:

"He's a bloody Chabad Lubavitcher for crying out loud. It's just amusing (and not in an anti-semitic way)"

I could list some not so nice things the Lubavitcher rebbe said about gentiles. But just quoting what jews themselves say is considered "anti-semitism" while slamming the arabs all day here is perfectly acceptable.

Slamming the Arabs is not acceptable. Noting the incongruity in a Brit going off to fight for the cause and then hating the reality of the culture he finds there is not the same thing as "slamming the Arabs.

If you wanted to make it Jewish and Israeli, you would have to have something like a Brooklyn born far right radical Zionist inspired by Kahane emigrating to Israel to support the Kach party, only to discover that he really can't stand Israeli culture. (Which would be funny, too)

Mocking the Indian subcontinent in general, on the other hand, or Pakistanis in particular, or Arabs is flirting with a rules violation.

My sense is that Neotenous Nordic doesn't particularly care for Muslims or Arabs, either, he just resents not being able to attack Jews. (Please feel free to correct me if I misunderstood you, Neotenous Nordic)

Please do report posts that you feel are attacking Muslims or Arabs by clicking on the "report" button or raising your concern in the "moderator attention" thread:
viewtopic.php?t=237032

I can't gaurantee that every moderator will always agree with your assessment, but your concern will not be ignored.

Its less about religion (I don't like any religion) and more about race.

But whatever, double standards still piss me off regardless of the race/group involved. All hypocrisy irks me.
