I'm pretty sure the US Supreme Court would, though. Wow.

The only thing he didn't mention (because it is assumed and does not have to explicitly stated) are internment camps to host American Muslims, modeled after the Japanese American internment camps of the 40s or the Treaty of New Echota (1835) that led to the Trail of Tears.

As for warrantless searches ----- that just happens to go with the territory of internment camps for citizens.

As for the issuance of special id cards for Muslims, that left me scratching my head until I realized that Trump was taking a leaf out of Hitler's books and referring to obvious and public identification, like the Star of David that the Nazis forced the Jews to wear to enable instant identification.

Under President Trump, all Muslims can wear green crescents on their vests. This would be over and above the obvious beards and the burquas, of course.

Wasn't Mr. Trump also behind the movement to force AIDS patients to either wear an identifying mark or be put in isolation camps?

We complain about corporate control of candidates, and here we are seriously discussing one of the most disgusting examples of corporate piggishness ever, as a possible candidate for our President of the United States???? Really????

If Trump were to become President, and started to make Muslim Americans carry ID cards - or worse, put them in camps - I'm sorry to say he would accomplish all this to the cheers of the roaring multitudes that had elected him. Trump is only the face and voice of the millions of bigots in this country.

Yeah, and there'd be a ton of people cheering if it was done exclusively to white [conservative] men.

Whether he is or not, he is certainly giving a collective voice to an ugly bigotry that had been largely hiding from the light of polite society till he said it was safe to be expressed.
