At age 65. She could never escape the shadow of her more-famous father Nat "King" Cole (who, IMNSO, was the better musician).

I hope one of the illnesses wasn't drug addiction----she's been clean, I think, for, like, 30 years (give or take).....

I just heard about her death, on TV. It's so sad. I was surprised by her age----for some reason I thought she was younger..... Regardless, 65 is TOO young!

I wonder if any of her kids will continue the lineage of family talent? [both her father and mother were musicians]
