Iowa is a very rural, very conservative state, where there are a large number of conservatives of the social/religious stripe. My pastor hails from there, and on returning home, he discovered how living abroad has changed his perception of things in comparison to his friends and family back home. In all fairness, while Iowa might be representative of the middle of the country, they hardly represent either coast, despite the emphasis the media and the two parties put on that state. Just because Cruz has gotten a boost there hardly means that's going to be repeated elsewhere.

Here on WP, I want to discuss interests and current events with my fellow Aspies (and yes, that includes you); I don't expect this t be the kind of place where some loon sends me a PM filled with pics if severed heads and entrails. Who knows, maybe I am too sensitive - maybe all that gore and blood would leave you tickled pink.

Whatever floats your boat. Try having a psycho sending you pics of decapitated heads from third world war zones, and you might have a different opinion. I don't believe for a minute Captain Psycho could have ever found me, or even if he had the balls to, but by sending me those pictures, he proved he was beyond civilized exchanges to the point of being unbalanced.
