Sad to see him go, as well as Lemmy, and Bowie as well. --I'd gladly see them returned in exchange to see death claim somebody useless like Sting, Britney Spears, or the entire band of Nickelback.

Like I said in another thread: all of the giants of classic rock are either dying, or (like Don Mclean) are disgracing themselves.

Oh man, everyone's dying lately -- it's been such a weird month.
RIP.

Digressing for a moment, but was it regarding Paul Kantner or Marty Balin, that I read a long while ago that a Jefferson Airplane member was diagnosed with Asperger's? Or suspected?

A lot of internet claims around that Marty Balin was diagnosed with mild Autism in childhood. Highly unlikely because Balin was born in 1942. In the late '40's and early 50's there was no mild autism concept and outside of Leo Kanner there were not to many people diagnosing autism

Every mention I can find of him being suspected of being on the spectrum is more recent than this YouTube video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QJSryPR0rnk

In the video, he *advocates* for autism awareness but makes no mention of being on the spectrum himself.
