the multitalented Sonny James passed away this afternoon, at home, age 87. among many other hits, he was best known for his 1956 chart topper "young love" which was one of the early country crossover [to pop] hits.

Sonny revived a really cool hit from 1963 into the spotlight again over a decade later.

The song even was noticed in Australia when the Bee Gees covered it.
