Wrong Planet won't let me post the actual link, but it's at nextrembrandt.com and what they did was program a computer to produce an image that is indistinguishable (supposedly) from that of an actual Rembrandt original. I'm not an art expert, but if I had been shown this image, my first guess would indeed have been Rembrandt.

Very interesting. Those clever programmers have abstracted the essential style of Rembrandt.
