White waitress gets "racist" tip from customer in Cape Town

Ntokozo Qwabe, a Black South African Oxford Law student, left a very nasty tip that began with "We will give a tip when you return the land." to a white South African waitress in a cafe in Cape Town.

Now his name and actions are forever on the internet.

Anyone who looks up his name will likely think "what a Jack***".

... what a jackass...

Racism if fine, but failure to tip is unforgivable.

From now on I will no longer leave tips at Chinese restaurants...


...until they free Tibet!

"Jackass" is plenty good enough.

Thats how the term is usually applied: to a person who makes an "ass" of themselves by being sanctimonious in a public way.

I really hate how people like to take out issues that they have with a certain group on innocent people. Like people who are upset about Muslim terrorists randomly harassing people whom they think "look Muslim." Or in this case, a black South African taking out his anger over what some other white people did on some white waitress.

People are just ridiculous. It makes no sense to retaliate against someone who isn't guilty to begin with.

Changes are that one or more of the waitress's relatives has been murdered as part of the plaasmoorde.

But besides that these 'activists' are nothing more then petty bullies.

Failing to tip, or being an a**hole to waitstaff at a restaurant here in the US pretty much gaurantees that the next time you go to a restaurant after being a dick to the staff at that particular restaurant, bad things will happen to the food you ordered before the waitstaff place it in front of you. --I hope the same applies to SA.

When I was of enlistment age, there were job openings to provide security in a collapsing South Africa. The rather-disturbing war crimes, perpetrated by the Mandelas, resulted in impoverished whites and enriched blacks, apparently incapable of maintaining the businesses, where they had formerly labored.

Here is an opportunity to consider executive function, because the materiel and skillset still remained.

I particularly thought that Qwabe's Rhodes scholarship was ironic, because (if I have heard correctly) Rhodes, of Rhodesia infamy, enslaved blacks by charging a nickle of property tax. Where would they get it.

If this is really post-racialism, and not just-plain demoralization, they might have discussions on philosophy and the arts, irrespective of their complexion. No example of perfection, myself, this letter is something a poseur might do.

I was raised on the fantasy and sci-fi genres. So, it was irrelevant to me, whether someone is of a different kind, assuming they are moral and intelligent. For instance, in the Witch and the Wardrobe, they are literal animals, yet deserve dignity.

When I see news stories on secular culture, if someone is dysfunctional or unappealing, there is no moralization. They are judged on utilitarian grounds, without protected status.
