The Bison Is Now The US National Mammal!

Excellent news considering how many were slaughtered in the past. Part of the reason the bison were killed so indiscriminately was because it was a major part of the Native American livelihood and it was part of a plan to demoralize them and force them into submission.

Given the overwhelming bipartisan support for the bison, Obama may have been buffaloed into signing this law.

Perhaps it is time to take Ben Franklin's advice and make the wild turkey our National Bird.

I live in New Jersey (Middlesex County) and we have several flocks of wild turkeys visit our wooded area in the back of the houses. They are handsome birds, nothing like the obese degenerate turkeys that are sold for slaughter on Thanksgiving Day.

My wife and I refer to these visiting birds as our pet dinosaurs.

For most Bison, the day the President signed this bill was the most important day in their life.

But for M Bison...



... it was Tuesday.
