Today Hillary Clinton openly stated she will be the Democratic Nominee with only needing 90 more delegates to go.

She finally broke her silence on Sanders and stated it's time for him and his supporters to stop threatening her and "helping" Trump.

She currently has 2,293 delegate, 90 short of the required amount.
Sanders has 1,528 delegates, being 765 behind Clinton

Sanders must pull win by 100% in all of the remaining primaries in June to tie Clinton.

She kindly reminded him, she ended her campaign early when asked by the party and Obama.
She was losing only by ~200 delegates at that time.

Why bother with a primary system at all? Why not just give her the nomination from the start. Hillary was promised this years ago, and nothing, not the will of the people, not an indictment, nothing will stand in her way. There is something very dangerous when a person believes they deserve power.

The fact that she can't knock off Sanders speaks volumes to how terrible a candidate she really is. Sanders supporters have already filed for permits to demonstrate outside the convention, and they won't stop until they get some free food, free rent, a free college education, free cars and free cell phones. So the Philadelphia police better be preparing for a convention that will be more akin to a cage fight.

You can't force a candidate to drop out until after the official vote takes place at the convention in July.

Sanders has made it clear from the beginning he has no plans to drop out until he has exhausted every legal option.

Hillary hasn't been indicted on anything.
She has been force to appear before Congress numerous times and agreed to meet with the FBI for an interview.

Why are you beating up on Bernie supporters?

That is with the Super delegates counted, which the corporate media news outlets have been told not to include in their current delegate total, yet they do it anyway to discourage Bernie supporters from going out and voting.

Hillary will most likely not get the total delegate count she needs to clinch the nomination before the convention in July.

The establishment won't allow Bernie to get the nomination anyway. But that doesn't mean he should drop out. Sanders believes in the democratic process and will stay in the race until all votes are cast. The way it should be.

Years ago, a Republican victory was predicted when Clinton and Obama were "bickering." But as it turned out, we never had a President McCain, while that nitwit with the brain of a fruitfly never became his Vice President. I'm sorry, I shouldn't have typed that last part - it's an insult to fruit flies.

The Democrat party is now the Communist Party USA but it's divided into those who admit to being socialists and those who still pretend to tolerate capitalism. None of them support our Constitution or Bill of Rights anymore.

Sanders supporters at least have the integrity to admit their allegiance. There, a compliment, albeit backhanded.

So, the GOP has gone from "Geezer McCain & Caribou Barbie", to "Mitt Romney Style" to a guy with a dead squirrel on his head.

The race ain't over until it's over.

McCain and Romney choked, especially Romney he was projected to win with so much going for him and for the last month was nowhere to be found, then there was the "47 percent" comment.

Bern it down! Viva la revolucion! :P

Trump will destroy Hillary, Democrats should know this by now. Trump probably only ran because he knew he'd be running against Hillary, everything is being set up perfectly.

Shouldn't of nominated a dud, Trump is superior to Hillary on the relevant issues and I think if you're open minded and not a blind partisan you could see that. Hillary is corrupt, Hillary is incompetent, Hillary is bought and paid for by the special interests.

What's communistic about wanting a government to provide services for the people, rather than sucking up to the crown heads of capitalism? And there might actually be more allegiance to capitalism if it hadn't failed so many by reducing wages, benefits, and shipping jobs to the third world just to save a buck fifty on each product.

Almost isn't close enough. Trump will certainly clinch his nomination before the convention. Clinton most likely won't, though she will go into the convention with more delegates and super delegates, pledged to her. But those super delegates won't vote until after the states have voted, therefore they don't yet count towards either candidates total. Also the super delegates regularly switch sides, so their current stance isn't exactly set in stone. At least that's the way I understand it to be.

If the primaries didn't have voter suppression built into them, Hillary wouldn't currently be leading.

Writing the delegate rules to favor a certain candidate has been common. Usually it favors the insider but McGovern in '72 won that way. I can not see the super delegates who are party insiders and union people voting for a candidate favored by college educated mellenials. As for Biden I would not be surprised if Hillary picks him for a third term as VP. That is constitutional, the same vice president has served two different administrations twice. He would have appeal to the "Reagan Democrates" Trump is courting.
