It is sad to see a good man die, but at least he did so at old age, after all the horrors he'd been thru his death was peacefull. My grandpa is a holocaust survivor from hungary (wasn't in camps just hid)... history seems to be repeating itself today.

Evil regimes like Iran are formed again, antisemitism is stronger than ever and holocaust deniers rise in numbers. Denying the holocaust seems to be rather easier than making up the moon landing hoax conspiracy.

Brother Wiesel had a good run. He was put through a wringer that no one should endure. But he survived and he fulfilled his mission. He was a Witness. He did what he had to do and he kept the faith.
