Spoiler: Looks like Saudi Arabia's version of the CIA did it. There are repeated mentions that we did not have enough intelligence because we thought Saudi Arabia was our ally. That's almost a direct quote.

If it was the Saudis - who, let's not forget are friends of the Bush family and Cheney - that begs the obvious question of "Why".

I'm sure that the standard commentary by the Intelligentsia would be: "The truth isn't for everyone to know" or words to that effect. It's doubtful we'll ever know the true story.

Sounds like a reason for the families of iraq war casualties -actually anyone- to burn down the Bush estate.

Imagine Jeb! was still running.
I can't believe we missed out on that.

Well....when I try to focus on a mental image of Jeb...there's nothing there.

I think the family had inflated him and propped him up as much as possible but
then came along his big mouthed nemesis: Donald Trump.

Old big mouth called him out for the wimp he was....then suddenly everyone
notices (before you see, it was not PC to address this...see what money can do?).

After that he was doomed.....makes "me" happy. :D

Article III US constitution

Quote:
Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort.

Bush ties to bin Laden haunt grim anniversary

Quote:
In 1978, Bush and Osama bin Laden’s brother, Salem bin Laden founded Arbusto Energy, an oil company based in Texas.

Several bin Laden family members invested millions in The Carlyle Group, a private global equity firm based in Washington, DC. The company’s senior advisor was Bush’s father, former President George H.W. Bush. After news of the bin Laden-Bush connection became public, the elder Bush stepped down from Carlyle.

Interestingly, on Sept. 11, 2001, members of the Carlyle Group – including Bush senior, and his former secretary of state, James Baker – were meeting at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Washington, D.C., along with Shafiq bin Laden, another one of Osama bin Laden’s brothers.

While all flights were halted following the terrorist attacks, there was one exception made: The White House authorized planes to pick up 140 Saudi nationals, including 24 members of the bin Laden family, living in various cities in the U.S. to bring them back to Saudi Arabia, where they would be safe. They were never interrogated.

Wikipedia Article Stratesec

Quote:
Stratesec (formerly known as Securacom and Burns and Roe Securacom) was a security company

Quote:
listed among its clients Washington Dulles International Airport, Hewlett-Packard, EDS, United Airlines, Gillette, MCI, the World Trade Center, and other facilities including hospitals, prisons, corporations, utilities, universities.

Marvin Bush, son of former US president George H.W. Bush, and brother to former US president George W. Bush, served on the board of directors from 1993 to June 2000.

I don't even know where to start on the topic of 9/11 I have researched and thought about it since the day it occurred and what came after never jarred well even though I was very young, that divide obviously grew over time, it's trynna figure out where things intersect and where they separate within the supplied version of 'reality'.

On my way to work early that morning I heard about the first strike.

I watched throughout the day on a little TV I had.

I do not believe some of the video I saw originally, I've ever seen again, specifically: There was a moment when one floor began to collapse on the one below it...but before that moment all the windows on the lower floor blew out, and shattered, simultaneously...before the floor above it began to move.

If someone would contend that the floor's slightest motion downward would generate enough pressure to blow out all the windows, I would say the slight motion used in your argument not only would not raise the air pressure significantly, there would be no force to "shatter" these windows...they would blow out in one piece (although especially designed to NOT blow outward, can't have storms blowing glass down on people below).

The only conclusion to what I saw was the use of explosives...and as I mentioned, I've never seen this replayed...makes me wonder, because it's a seminal moment.

Also, of course, millions saw what I saw????

I'll keep my "conspiracy theories" to myself, for now.

I imagine elements of the Saudi royal family were involved but there are like 15,000+ Saudi princes, the governing Saudis probably position themselves as the only thing stopping their country from falling into their hands and into the hands of ISIS. They had the Saudi foreign minister on CNN yesterday for a fascinating interview; he basically said they he expects whoever becomes presidents will change their tone about the Saudis one they get in and read the intelligence reports about "the reality of the relationship".

Here's hoping the smarmy minister gets a rude awakening (which won't happen if she gets in I'm afraid [which is what he's saying, of course]) and a shit-storm is on their horizon.

The reality of the relationship in that the United States is a client state of Saudi Arabia.

That's what happened to Obama. He walked out of some meeting with W. during the change of power time in January and he had this stricken look on his face. As if some things had been explained to him. He did an about face on some things that he had seemed quite passionate about before that meeting.

My husband and I always joked that he must have been told that aliens are real.

There is hardly anything unusual about this. Many of the US soldiers killed in Afghanistan were actually victims of the Pakistan secret service who covertly fund and arm the Taliban. This is a relict from the days of Oliver North and the CIA funding Bin Laden and the Mujahadeen (against the Soviets) used Pakistan as an intermediary.

When Bin Laden got ex-Mujahadeen to switch to the Taliban Pakistan's shadowy secret services continued and even expanded their relationship which now includes members of their armed forces. What is ironic about this is the US turned a blind eye to terror organisation Jaish-e-Mohammed, and Lashkar-e-Taiba operating in Pakistan doing terror attacks on India, even condemning India over Kashmir. Eventually in 2001 following the Bombay attacks where foreigners were attacked the US had no choice but ask Pakistan to list these groups as terrorists. Pakistan said yes but their military continue to fund these groups to continue terrorist incursions into Kashmir. This is much like The Kurdish seperatist incursions into Turkey killing Turkish civilians. The Americans have made overt alliances with the Kurds despite Turkey being a member of NATO??

Both Turkey and India must be wondering why the Americans seem to have their own definitions of what defines a terrorist?

I don't feel needy for the nanny state nor want to be an iconoclast. Where is Gault's Gulch, or that Study Hall kind-of room, where we used to go during pep rallies.
