Yesterday in Las Vegas (August 4th, 2016), 7 teams played Capture the Flag using computers.
The game was about computers automatically hacking other computers and at the same time patching bugs found by other computers hacking them. No human interaction allowed, and not required since everything runs at lightning speed.
As a security researcher, i find this amazing that we've come this far and it will have an overall good impact on IT-security, unlike before when things just got broken by experts - and then had to be fixed by vendors who - even though they wrote the software - usually cannot tell a security bug from a hole in the ground.
