His routine is to get random street people to believe in really bad lies.

In this case, Trump's son is not supposed to be killing endangered dinosaurs:

Are they paid to give these answers, and how can this promote libertatrianism.

As a presumptive libertarian, Dice would believe that these people are entitled to an opinion and, in some cases, wield the power of life and death, ie. the 1st and 2nd Amendment.

Libertarian means you can say, think, and do whatever you want, so long as it is not harmful to others. You alone own yourself and the fruits of your labor. It's basically anarchy, except, they believe that formal govt is supposed to protect these god given rights, which you were born with.

There is a concept called abstentionism, where someone is supposed to occupy a govt office, as legally-entitled figurehead, and refuse to use his privileges, thusly protecting the people from unjust law. They are supposed to downvote taxes and restrictions. In this respect, the republic was intended to protect against the rule of the tyrant, as well as the vicious mob -- the proverbial two wolves and one lamb voting on what to have for dinner.

But, my argument goes like this --
Is someone morally entitled to a grossly ignorant opinion and to defend it with the force of arms.

You know, from now on, I'm going to associate libertarianism with a flamboyant gay man playing the piano!

The clip is fun to watch. Not sure what it is supposed to prove.

Steve Allen did that schtick way back in the late Fifties and early Sixties.

He would go around with mic and a TV camera and ask folks on the street "would you vote for someone who was openly heterosexual?".

You would see one trailer trash type lady go "WHAT????? NO WAY IN HELL!! !! !! !", or you would see a progressive looking egg headed looking beatnick type guy go into a PAINED look of introspection, and after a long pause "yessss...maybe I would"(this was 1960, not 2016 when society was more homophobic than today).

No one caught on that Allen was saying "HETEROsexual".

It was a call for civic engagement, but I would rather that these people not be engaged.

In this case, Dice's dupes possibly hear rhinoceros, rather than triceratops.

In other cases, it was unmistakable; they believed that Marx was still alive and active in American politics (literally, not rhetorically.)

The Liberaces are being called liberal-tarians. They have homosexual speakers on men's rights, and lesbians against third wave feminism, are not cultural conservatives, not fiscal conservatives, are mainly change agents and trolls in the padded room of leftist safe space.
