There is so far to go in so many areas to overcome the "one size fits all" mentality. While I agree with what this man says, I think the AS community needs to take more ownership, and show more leadership, in addressing issues like this where the "tyranny of the normative" designs programmes which completely ignore ND audiences. That the needs of the neurodiverse are so unacknowledged impacts at some level on all people in the ND population, as cultural invalidation and cultural discounting: your needs don't matter, they are unworthy of time and attention.

The topic of this thread is one issue in a vast catalogue of issues where equity for the neurodiverse population is completely ignored. Little progress politically has been made on many of these, where the TOTN is total, the singular approach.
