GOP out of touch on climate change
Trump said he didn't say that climate change was a Chinese hoax, but he did:

Then a reporter tried to get more info from his "surrogates" on Trump's views and statement on the apparent inconsistency, such as the god-awful Marsha Blackburn (who was my representative at one point) who came out with this incoherent mess:
HP: You know we’ve had about nine of the hottest years in the history of the planet have been in the past 10 years?
BLACKBURN: We have also seen the past 10 years a little bit of a cooling.

The others just dodge the question by deflecting.
It's pretty clear that the world is warming up and that humankind has been adding to that effect. When will these GOP'ers get a clue?

It's also pretty clear that, collectively, humankind doesn't give a s**t about the environment and nothing beneficial will get done about it. True environmentalists will always be a tiny minority and the only thing they'll ever achieve is to piss people off. Some of those people will go out of their way to screw the environment over even more, like coal rollers do, to reinforce the point that noöne is gonna take away their freedom to damage it and they'll boldly and proudly fight to the death any attempt to do so.
I wonder how long it'll take for us to see ships specifically tailored for rolling coal while whaling.
