Earthquakes in NZ

Hey gang, it's 1.36am in New Zealand and I'm up, possibly freaking out over a swarm of earthquakes currently going on. Check it out if you have an interest here: http://www.geonet.org.nz/quakes/all
Earthquakes are common here in NZ but I've never experienced so many in one go, it's really scary!! !
I feel like I'm experiencing seasickness but on dry land, quite an out-of-body experience. The ground has been moving for 90 minutes now, I think we're moving continuously.

I'm reaching out as this is quite frightening for me and would like to hear from people who have been multiple/swarms of earthquakes

yup, felt it here for a full 3 mins, swaying and up and down motion... All of New Zealand has been hit with after shocks. Seems right up from the South to North Faults... Some very interesting patterns and depths. Researchers will be having a field day here with this... No serious damage reported anywhere as yet... Seems a correlation possibly with the Super Moon that is at its fullest tomorrow night, Hope everyone is ok in NZ?

Only felt one aftershock after the first one (North Island also), Civil defense has ordered evacuation along the entire east coast of New Zealand to higher ground.. All people on east coast should be seeking high ground as now.

The main quake was 7.5 magnitude, there have been numerous aftershocks, a number over 5 and 6 magnitude.

Tsunami waves are hitting the east coast.

big aftershocks happening throughout the country and mainly epicenter... Water supply here been effected, so down to buy some bottled water.... Hope all other Kiwis ok!?
