While I can never condone her actions, I do think a permanent ban was excessive. If no criminal activity or threats have occurred, I think a cool-off period should have been allowed, similar to the "You don't have to go home, but you can't stay here" rule at bars. Also, I think another issue that the incident should touch on is the serious understaffing in retail stores, restaurants, etc., especially when it comes to bilingual staff.

I doubt the punishment would have been the same if the roles were reversed. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if there was no punishment at all.

^Not where I live. There's only one major mall left, all the others have hardly any stores in them anymore. I guess they're dying out because of online shopping.

Trump supporters are racist. They are using Trump to justify being racist. And it's going to just get worse. And when the non-supporters move into Canada because they think it's a magical winter wonderland or some nonsense, the terrorists will follow, and many innocent people, Canadians included, will be killed in terrorist attacks.

Canada isn't open to anyone unless they already have a lot of money and can be of some use up there. I think they learned thier lesson during the Vietnam era with all the draft dodgers.

I don't think its excessive, why should they allow someone who screams at other customers to return to their store? Sucks for her but I can see why they don't want her coming back to the store...perhaps she wont behave like a 'merican bigot next time she goes to a mall.
