At least he died doing something active with his family, rather than alone in a hospital bed. R.I.P. Allan Thicke.

I've been hearing a lot about this guy lately. To be honest, I don't really know him or his material. Was he just before my time?

I heard this early this morning, and was so saddened by it.

Damn, I really liked him...

I was locked away most of yesterday, working on a really long final paper, oblivious to the world around me, so this is the first I'm seeing this. Really charismatic, talented, likable guy.

This is a really horrible thing to say, I know, but I'm just gonna say it... it's kinda too bad it wasn't Kirk Cameron instead.

We never got Growing Pains here, at least not in my time, so I'm with you. All I know is he's the dad of a pop singer and that there was a character on GP called "Boner" (you can blame Family Guy for that one 8)).
