What is a zombie apocalypse and why should I care? What evidence is there that says zombies exist?

How long is the zombie obsession going to continue? Seems like it's been viral my entire life.

In the eighties, and Nineties, it was still kinda a cult thing. A couple crazy guys I worked with would have video parties and show off their collection of Romero zombie movies. Then sometime around 2009 zombies suddenly went mainstream. Am also getting kinda tired of them.

The article is obviously tongue-in-cheek, but still... . Zombies shuffle along across the landscape VERY slowly. And they dont board jet airliners. I just dont see how they could spread zombism around globe with that kind of speed.

So I question the validity of that study!! !! !

"The Walking Dead" has beaten it to death. We need a few zombie free years and then another resurrection.

Firstly, that was a math problem, which could be explained, just as easily, using harmless analogies --
sticky, grape jelly
metallic, pink glitter
people who share a catchy meme, say, the Hamster Dance or Nean Cat.

What if it spreads from person to person. How many people will be left, in 100 days.

It is not enough for military Kenynesians to waste money and pick fights, needlessly; now we are supposed to imagine fairytale monsters.

Discussing ignorance, being imposed on the little guy, it was once speculated that everyday people could forget 9-11, in a certain number of years. They may have been kept innocent, like so many WW2 Germans. Can they be made to blame Dracula or King Kong. What if people, with the attention span of a small, colorful bird, record that zombies were to blame, or just keep re-tweeting it, in text speak. idk

Many of our atheists should rightly be called agnostics. At least, they watch horror movies, become fearful, and ask questions about the nature of reality. At least, two, grown people, of military age, have confided in me, that a zombie movie had unsettled them. It was a mood. It changed the way they would normally act, even if for a moment.

How might it be remembered, in 100yrs.

In 100 seconds, that part of your brain, which makes your mouth water for tasty food, in which sex sells, believes it really happened.

After olden journeys, which could take place over 100's of days, the voyagers brought back tales of monsters.

I never understood the obsession with zombies. They're just boring, really.

*only method of reproduction and sole food is main predator.

*constantly decomposing and thus structurally/anatomically unsound, easy prey for hungry scavengers.

*don't move around very fast.

*astonishingly unintelligent, with a single track mind

*very easily bogged down by cold and hot, humid weather alike due to their biology

* can be taken out by just about anything big enough, tying into aforementioned slowness

The zombies are used as a metaphor to explain the spread of diseases. They don't actually think zombies exist they are just making it more entertaining

Not one in particular just an example of how quickly something can spread. They used the black plague as an inspiration.

Do they expect the Black Plague to spread, as such, or are they triggering people.

Well with the recent scare with ebola and zika virus it is prudent to practice in case of a real life situation.

Like how firemen practice when there isn't a fire

Whether or not you believe that the whole situation was contrived, as some do, they took unnecessary risks.

It appears , imhblo, that they wanted funding, but without responsibility.

If you really want to see it, and I would assume not, there is probably still a Youtube video of a black guy, barfing up Ebola, in front of a Dallas (?) hospital. The staff squirts it, into the city sewer, with an ordinary looking hose, as I recall. These people are supposed to be serious about my feelings and personal safety?

There is a vaccine doctor, laughing about contamination, if you're into that kind of activism.
