That’s the word from New York Times bestseller Ed Klein, who wrote on his blog that the former first lady was considering a move into TV.

“She’s been talking very seriously about the idea of having her own television show,” said the source close to Mrs Clinton. “As a TV host, she’d discuss the issues of the day from a progressive point of view, have top guests, interview world leaders and progressive thinkers.

The source said at a Washington DC dinner, Mrs Clinton used Arnold Schwarzenegger’s line, “I’ll be back.”

“She’s utterly determined not to fade into the background. She intends to stay in the limelight and keep fighting the good fight. She knows Obama is going to be out there fighting too. But frankly, she doesn’t think he’s a great leader or a great fighter, which leaves an opening for her to be the acknowledged leader-in-exile of her party,” the source said.

“She thinks being the host of a popular TV show would energise the Democratic Party base and her tens of millions of fans. It’s a way to make a comeback and position herself for another run at the White House starting in a year or so.”

Mrs Clinton is yet to comment on the report.

I have hard time imagining it, Hillary has never been the most personable person and definitely not a talk show host. There has been a lot of rumors about her, I read today that she's planning on running in 2020. Couple weeks ago they were saying she might run for Mayor of New York.

It might work, precisely because of her faults, and winning the popularity vote

Lets not beat around the bush. Hillary Clinton running a talk show would be about as interesting as listening to Ben Carson talk about urban housing.

I figure it might be like The View, probably one of the most boring shows on earth but worse.

I'd like to see her do a Jerry Springer format using Trump supporters as guests.

That wouldn't end well considering the baggage she carries herself

I wouldn't mind renting a trailer, and going cross-country like a hippie.

Her catchphrase can be 'what difference does it make?' and she throws her hands up in a mini tantrum every time.
