It appears he's shackled the State Department which is given little to do:

He wants to increase military spending bt 10%. His senior adviser Stephen Miller has spoken of this in particularly *dramatic* terms, as I documented on another thread:

and it has been over.....71 years since the US last conventionally went toe to toe against an adversary with comparable military prowess?
