That's the thing with videos, people know everything and have all the details to make a judgement call from a 28 second image.
And there have been occasions in the news where each side hasn't shown the whole thing; that tells me to not immediately make a call - I don't know jack from half a minute of video.
Something to illustrate the concept -
I've seen where a parent went running after their toddler who broke free of their hand and was fixing to run out in the street from between parked cars. Parent got close enough to just grab the kid's hair before going between the cars.
Now, let's post 15 seconds of video showing the parent grabbing the kid by the hair and yanking the kid backwards. Parent is clearly a child abuser who should go to jail, right? (no, it wasn't my kid, I have none)
