St Austell dad Tristan Hicks killed himself after arrest on suspicion of murder of baby son
The inquest also heard how Mr Hicks suffered from anxiety and bouts of anger, which he found difficult to control.
It was also revealed that he had suffered from alleged sexual abuse from a family friend aged six and once claimed to have been beaten and raped by a St Austell drug dealer in reprisal for stealing drugs from him.

yeah the aggression going on since a young age couldn't possibly have been a bigger factor than the aspergers...lol. Looks like a person known to have aggression issues killed their kid, I don't really see how the aspergers fits in exactly.

People who see us all as potential Adam Lanzas will spin it as the outcome of Asperger's.

He does not sound like he was a very exemplary person to begin with. Sometimes babies cry or scream for over an hour and can't be placated. If a person is at their wits end with a screaming baby, and the baby has been fed, changed, and doesn't appear to have anything wrong with it that might need medical attention...no rash, no fever, no stomach issues, no pieces of hair wrapped around a digit or limb, and you are about to have a nervous breakdown, put the baby down in it's crib, close the door, and take a break for a few minutes.

Well, one of the things that most caught my eye about this story, was that he was found with a rope around his neck, but he was on the FLOOR. The first thing I think-of when someone has a rope around their neck, is hanging----but then, how was it, that he was on the floor? Did someone cut him, down? At the very end of the article, though, it says that he had researched how to do this, on the Internet----but, I still don't get it.....
If someone strangles themselves, they pass-out, FIRST, I think----then, when they pass-out, their hand relaxes and that releases the pressure on the rope / neck, and they don't usually die; so, it's all very strange, to me.
Secondly, whenever I hear of someone having ADHD, and killing someone else, I read to see if they were on Ritalin, because I know how EXTREMELY angry Ritalin makes ME (which is why I'm on a bit of a campaign to research prescription drug effects, when there's gun violence, for instance), and I can certainly understand why it would propel someone to kill----but, the article didn't say.....

Some people will call animal control, when your dog is loose. I bring it back to you, and help you fix the fence.
That would be an example of executive function, and most people don't have it.

While that is indeed strange, and suspicious, it's a possibility that the rope might have eventually snapped from his dead weight, I suppose.
