Good luck with that.
Maybe the guy's a genius with heavy-duty electrical work AND business, and really can get it all working again faster and cheaper.
I've found a few contractors like that by dialing into the "Good Ole Boy Network." A plumber, an electrician and HVAC service, a guy I bought wood from because he was a friend of Hubby's coworker's brother that turned out to be a heck of a tree-feller for an excellent price (with said tree cut into 12-inch lengths and stacked neatly in my yard to cure for next winter's firewood).
Then again, maybe he got the job despite being ill-trained and ill-equipped to actually DO something of that magnitude simply because he went to high school with somebody who ended up in high places.
Guess we'll find out. Either way, if you are skilled (even as a layperson) and uncommitted and have the resources to go there, PR really needs hands and brains right now. Every time I read another report, my heart aches because it seems I can't be released from my duties here for 14 days.
