John Stewart had had the translator speaking about the book last night. Stewart was genuinely touched by the book and it's author, and suggested everyone read it.

yeah..I went to Amazon and looked it up...4++stars $14.07+shipping.

There's also a book by a young Indian NV AS called, How Can I Talk if my Lips Don't Move? His mother worked with him intensively after everyone else gave up on him - and he also communicates via a word processor. I was intrigued by the teaching method his mother has developed for working with non-verbal 'locked in' people with autism...

How does one get a book from anyone's eyes. I would have though the brain is the main organ.

My favourite chapters are 'The Black Crow and the White Dove', and Q58 - his thoughts on autism itself. Could not agree more.
