Washington has become the tenth state to ban conversion therapy (the facetious programs meant to turn gays straight). I am very proud of my state!

Good for Washington. Kind of surprised this hasn't been banned in every state already. Weird, but whatever, progress is progress.

Didn’t the inventors of conversion therapy admit it didn’t work, and Exodus Intl stopped doing it?

It has no scientific basis and is truly awful. However if an adult chooses to put them self through this who is the state to say they cannot?

I suppose for the same reason we don't allow torture chambers or eye-poking-out clinics.
