Interesting.. but I really don't see North Korea giving up their nukes so easily. They've been hell bent on revenge for the US killing millions of their citizens during the Korean war nearly 70 years ago and have shaped their entire cult-like society around it. It would not surprise me if Kim says "Lol jk a**hole!" & pushes a button and launches a nuke at a US target. How else could he save face with his citizens? Just tell them "Oh, btw, the whole starving you and controlling you thing so we could finance weapons R&D for revenge for 70 years was just some silly BS my dad started.. forget about it, we're giving up our nukes. Your unwavering support & sacrifice was for nothing 'cause we're giving up now." Lol yeah, right.
edit: The only way I see this possibly working out is if it's a 3 way negotiation and the North gives up nukes in exchange for reunification with the South, if all parties are on board, and Kim sells it to his people as being better than revenge on the USA. Otherwise..
