Van driven into pedestrians in Germany

BBC-A van is reported to have driven into pedestrians in the city of Muenster, in Germany.

Local police have confirmed there are deaths and injuries, but have not said how many.

Ok, the story changed again, it was initially 3 dead + driver, now it's 2 dead + driver. Again, take everything within 72 hours of an event as suspect: the police will throw out their initial biases as fact, the press will report that bias, and for ~72 hours we'll be getting a lot information we later learn was false.

Two victims are dead 20 injured. For those politicizing the incident, the van owner shot himself to death.

This thread broke some records with regard to the number of reports it received, so all derailment, insinuations, accusations etc have been removed.

I feel like a doughnut someone's sucked all the jam out of.

Does anyone have a motive yet? Or even associates of the driver?

No motive has come up as AFAIK.

But he was a troubled individual with a history of issues.
